Mayor Karachi held a meeting with the opposition leader, Advocate Saifuddin of the Karachi Metropolitan Municipality (KMC), to discuss key matters related to the upcoming municipal budget session.
According to the KMC spokesperson, the meeting took place in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Afzal Zaidi, PPP parliamentary leader Karamullah Waqasi, and other senior KMC officials.
During the meeting, Mayor Karachi shared details of the annual budget figures, highlighting priorities for urban development, sanitation, public health, and infrastructure repair in the city.
Opposition leader Advocate Saifuddin expressed appreciation for the transparency and assured the Mayor of his party’s full cooperation during the upcoming budget session of the Metropolitan Municipality.
Mayor Karachi emphasized the importance of cross-party consensus on public welfare initiatives and called for a unified approach to resolving Karachi’s longstanding civic and financial issues.
