Gold rates in Pakistan continued a downward trend as the rate of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs 1,595, with the per tola rate standing at Rs 359,150.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the rate for one gram of 24K gold is now Rs. 30,791.85, and 10 grams priced at Rs. 307,918.5.
In the international market, gold is currently trading at $3,352.10 per ounce, while silver holds steady at $35.72 per ounce, impacting domestic pricing patterns.
Silver in Pakistan is also down slightly, with 24K silver priced at Rs. 3,941 per tola, Rs. 3,378.8 per 10 grams, and Rs. 337.88 per gram, respectively.

Gold prices for various purities have also been updated: 22K gold is now Rs. 327,334 per tola and Rs. 280,565 per 10 grams across markets.
For 21K gold, the new rates are Rs. 312,455 per tola and Rs. 267,812 per 10 grams, while 20K gold is priced at Rs. 297,577 per tola.
10 grams of 20K gold is now selling at Rs. 255,059, while 18K gold stands at Rs. 267,819 per tola and Rs. 229,553 per 10 grams.
Jewellers note that fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate and international demand are key factors affecting day-to-day variations in precious metal prices across Pakistan.
