Karachi’s administration is taking steps to ensure that Champions Trophy 2025 will be a successful and memorable event for everyone.
A meeting chaired by Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi discussed the preparations for the event and decided that the event would have strict security, with authorities from the police, Rangers, and other agencies involved.
The stadium area and routes leading to it will be decorated, with special parking arrangements and shuttle services from parking areas to the stadium.
The meeting included officials such as the Director-General of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Additional Commissioner Karachi Ghulam Mehdi Shah, and Deputy Commissioners from various areas.
The representative from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Arshad Khan, shared the schedule for the event.
The Champions Trophy 2025 is set to take place from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and UAE.
In Group A, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh will compete, while Group B features South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and England.
The opening match will be between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi.
