Human trafficker apprehended by FIA from Clifton, Karachi

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Karachi has successfully apprehended a human trafficker named Altaf Hussain from the city’s Clifton area. The arrest was made as part of the FIA’s ongoing efforts to combat illegal immigration and human trafficking.

According to the FIA spokesperson, Altaf Hussain had been involved in collecting money from individuals seeking to migrate to Canada. He allegedly demanded Rs5 million from a victim and received Rs1.6 million before being apprehended.

A case has been registered against Altaf Hussain under the Emigration and Smuggling of Migrants Act. The FIA is taking strict action against such criminals involved in human smuggling to protect innocent individuals from falling victim to these illegal activities.

In a separate raid, the FIA’s anti-human smuggling cell also arrested another smuggler, Rizwan Shah, in Gujranwala. Rizwan Shah was known for his involvement in human smuggling and violence against the affected individuals. The FIA spokesperson revealed that Rizwan Shah was responsible for illegally detaining his victims in Iraq and engaging in kidnapping for ransom.

Videos depicting the torture inflicted on Rizwan Shah’s victims had gone viral on social media, raising public outrage and prompting the FIA to take immediate action. The agency had been conducting raids for the past seven days to apprehend him and is now working to arrest his accomplices as well.

These arrests by the FIA highlight the agency’s commitment to combatting human trafficking and ensuring the safety and security of individuals seeking better opportunities abroad. Such operations play a crucial role in curbing illegal immigration and protecting vulnerable individuals from falling prey to human traffickers.
