In a significant development related to a robbery and subsequent police encounter at a general store situated in Karachi’s Site area, the court has handed down sentences to both individuals after they were found guilty.
The verdict from the Anti-Terrorism Court resulted in a 19-year prison term for each of the accused, who were found guilty of multiple crimes stemming from the incident.
Additionally, the court imposed a fine of 80 thousand rupees on the convicted individuals as part of their punishment.
The prosecution detailed that following the encounter, the accused were apprehended by the police in a wounded state.
The public prosecutor further revealed that amidst the resistance to the robbery, the accused had also caused injury to an individual within the jurisdiction of Site A police station.
