In 10 grams, 24-karat silver decreased by Rs. 147 to Rs. 5,861. The significant declines across both measurements underscore the intensity of the selling pressure.
The drop was driven by a notable retreat in global markets. The international silver price fell by $1.71 to $63.59, its lowest level in weeks. This global weakness provided a strong bearish cue for local traders.
Since the late August peak near Rs. 7,329, silver has now retreated approximately Rs. 490 per tola. The metal remains above the July lows near Rs. 6,000, but the sharp decline suggests that further weakness may lie ahead if global markets continue to slide.

This modest decline extends the consolidation phase for silver, which has been fluctuating around the Rs. 7,000 mark in recent sessions. The metal is struggling to establish clear directional momentum.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
