A Karachi court acquitted Anmol alias Pinky in three drug-related cases registered at Gizri Police Station, after finding that the prosecution had not provided enough evidence to prove the allegations against her.

The Additional District and Sessions Court (South) accepted Anmol’s acquittal pleas and cleared her in all three cases.
According to her lawyer, the cases were registered in 2020, 2021 and 2022, and Anmol had been declared a fugitive in all three.
The defence argued that Anmol was named in the cases mainly on the basis of statements given by two co-accused, Ali and Fahmida. However, both of them had already been acquitted by the court in 2024.
The lawyer argued that after the co-accused were acquitted, there was not enough independent evidence against Anmol. The court ultimately agreed that the prosecution had failed to present sufficient evidence and acquitted her.

The acquittal is separate from another case involving Anmol in which a man died after allegedly consuming drugs.
In that case, police initially registered a murder case after the body of an unidentified man was found on a footpath in Karachi. Police said they later found a small box bearing Anmol’s name in the deceased man’s pocket.
However, a chemical examination conducted by the University of Karachi lab concluded that the man died from drug intoxication.
Based on the report, police dropped the murder allegation and submitted a charge sheet under Section 322 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which deals with causing death indirectly or through an unlawful act, rather than intentionally killing someone.
In Karachi, another suspect, Aqib, was allegedly running parts of the network, while Sabira and Humaira were identified as alleged riders.
Police also told the committee that African nationals were allegedly supplying cocaine to the network.

Police said they had identified 25 alleged riders linked to the network. One bank account reportedly received around Rs30 million in a year, including a single transaction of Rs29 million.
Investigators have so far uncovered financial transactions involving around Rs100 million, while inquiries into alleged benami accounts are continuing.
It is worth noting here that police arrested Anmol in May 2026 during an intelligence-based operation (IBO). Authorities had described her as a high-profile alleged narcotics supplier.

Police claimed that she was involved in the distribution of cocaine in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad and that a mobile drug-processing laboratory was found during the raid.
According to police, the raid resulted in the recovery of one kilogram of semi-prepared cocaine, more than 15 cocaine capsules, various chemicals and a pistol.
The latest court order, however, relates specifically to the three Gizri Police Station drug cases, in which Anmol has now been acquitted because the prosecution failed to establish the charges with sufficient evidence.
