Police stated that an FIR concerning the alleged abduction of Eshal Fatima had already been registered at Satellite Town Police Station.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the victim and the main accused were acquainted with each other. The arrested suspects have claimed that they transported Eshal to a hospital after her condition deteriorated.

DPO Jhang Sajid Hussain reiterated that investigators are examining every aspect of the case in detail and that the investigation will be completed fairly and on merit, taking into account the forensic findings and post-mortem reports.
