The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued its latest three-day weather forecast for Karachi, predicting partly cloudy, hot and humid conditions across the city from Thursday, June 4, to Saturday, June 6, 2026, as moist and warm weather continues to prevail over the coastal metropolis.

Residents are expected to face another spell of uncomfortable weather, with above-normal daytime temperatures and persistently high humidity levels throughout the forecast period.

Thursday remained partly cloudy, hot and humid across Karachi. Maximum temperatures ranged between 35°C and 37°C, while minimum temperatures stayed around 29.5°C. Morning humidity reached 72%, whereas evening humidity remained between 55–65%. Winds continued blowing from the west and southwesterly directions.

Karachi Weather on Friday, June 5, 2026

Hot and humid conditions are expected to intensify slightly on Friday, with partly cloudy skies prevailing across the city. Maximum temperatures are likely to range between 36°C and 38°C, while minimum temperatures will remain between 29°C and 31°C. Morning humidity is forecast between 70–80%, while evening humidity will stay between 55–65%. Winds will continue from the west and southwesterly directions.

Similar weather conditions are expected to persist on Saturday, with partly cloudy skies, heat, and humidity dominating the city’s weather pattern. Maximum temperatures are expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C, while minimum temperatures will range between 29°C and 31°C. Morning humidity is likely to stay between 70–80%, and evening humidity between 55–65%. West to southwesterly winds are expected to continue.

Hot Weather Persists Across Sindh

The PMD said hot to very hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most districts of Sindh during the forecast period. However, isolated areas may experience dust-thunderstorm and light rain activity.

Karachi, however, is expected to remain largely dry throughout the three-day period.

Karachi’s Continued Humidity Challenge

Despite partly cloudy conditions, high humidity levels driven by sea breezes will continue to make the weather feel more uncomfortable, particularly during afternoon and evening hours.

The PMD has advised residents, especially children, senior citizens, and individuals with health conditions, to take precautionary measures during the ongoing hot and humid spell.
