The woman at the center of the case rejected the allegations that she had been kidnapped or raped, telling the court that she had married of her own free will.
Her statement marked a dramatic development in a case that had drawn widespread attention on social media after a lady investigation officer leveled serious allegation against the arrested accused Naresh.
The case stemmed from allegations that the woman had been abducted and sexually assaulted. It also attracted significant public attention after claims emerged regarding alleged evidence of abuse involving multiple women.
During the hearing at the South Judicial Magistrate’s Court, the woman recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

In her statement, she denied allegations of kidnapping and sexual assault and said she had voluntarily left with a man identified as Naresh.
The woman informed the court that she and Naresh had known each other for some time and had decided to marry by mutual consent.
She stated that no one had forced her to leave her home and that the allegations of abduction mentioned in the police case were incorrect.
According to court proceedings, the woman further claimed that the criminal case and allegations registered against her husband by the lady investigation officer were false.
She also alleged that both she and her husband had been facing difficulties due to the ongoing investigation.

When asked by the court where she wished to go, the woman stated that neither her family nor her husband’s family had any objections to their marriage and expressed her desire to return with her husband.
After recording her statement, the court allowed the woman to leave with her husband. The magistrate also directed the accused to submit a protective surety bond of Rs50,000 before taking the woman with him.
The case was originally registered at Napier Police Station and had been investigated by Sub-Inspector Rubina Shaheen.

However, according to information presented before the court, the lady investigator was unable to produce evidence supporting her claims related to the alleged rape of 22 women.
