Pakistan’s bullion market continued its downward spiral on Wednesday, as gold prices dropped further amid an ongoing decline in international markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 5,500, settling at Rs. 479,562.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs. 4,715 to Rs. 411,147, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs. 4,322, closing at Rs. 376,898.
Gold rates in Karachi on Wednesday, April 29, 2026:
- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 479,562 (-5,500)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 411,147 (-4,715)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 376,898 (-4,322)
Meanwhile, international gold prices also recorded a sharp decline, falling by $55 to settle at $4,572 per ounce.

The continued drop in global bullion rates has put significant pressure on domestic gold prices, with investors pulling back from precious metals amid growing uncertainty in international markets.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
