Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant decline on Thursday, April 9, mirroring a notable drop in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 9,500, settling at Rs. 494,662 compared to yesterday.

Similarly, the rate of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 8,145 to Rs. 424,092, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs. 7,466, reaching Rs. 388,765.

- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 494,662 (-9,500)
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 424,092 (-8,145)
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 388,765 (-7,466)
Meanwhile, international gold prices also saw a sharp decline, falling by $95 to settle at $4,723 per ounce.

Market analysts linked the drop to a broader correction in global bullion markets, as investors adjusted positions amid ongoing price volatility.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
