Silver prices in Pakistan saw a steep decline on Thursday, extending their losing streak with a significant fall in both local and international markets.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs. 760, settling at Rs. 7,734.

Meanwhile, the rate for 24-karat silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 652 to Rs. 6,630.
Silver Rates in Karachi for Thursday, March 19, 2026:
- Silver (24K per tola): Rs. 7,734 – down by Rs. 760
- Silver (24K per 10 grams): Rs. 6,630 – down by Rs. 652
The sharp fall reflects intensified selling pressure, pushing silver further away from recent price levels and indicating continued weakness in demand.

On the international market, silver prices also recorded a notable decline, falling by $7.6 to $72.50 per ounce.
The drop in global rates has directly impacted local prices, as Pakistan’s bullion market closely follows international trends and currency movements.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
Silver prices in Pakistan continue to slide after earlier highs, with the market yet to show signs of stabilization amid persistent global and local pressures.
