The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain, thunderstorms, and possible hailstorms in parts of Sindh, including Karachi ahead of Eidul Fitr 2026.
According to the weather department, a western weather system will enter the western parts of Pakistan on March 17, which is expected to bring unstable weather conditions across the province over the next two days.

Officials said Karachi may experience rain accompanied by strong winds and thunder on March 18 and 19 as the system moves toward southern regions.
The advisory warns that sudden gusty winds could also occur during thunderstorms.
Several Sindh districts may receive rain
The PMD said multiple districts across Sindh are also likely to receive rainfall, especially on March 19.
These include Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, and Ghotki.
Weather officials noted that some areas could also experience hailstorms along with rainfall depending on the intensity of the system.

The meteorological department has advised farmers across Sindh to manage crops and agricultural activities according to the expected weather conditions. Sudden rain or hail may affect standing crops in some areas.
