The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has rejected reports claiming a gas outage in several areas of Karachi during iftar timing, calling the news false and misleading.
In an official statement, an SSGC spokesperson said the overall gas supply situation in Karachi is stable and no area-wise complaints have been received on the company’s official helpline so far.
The spokesperson added that the company is closely monitoring gas supply across the city. However, SSGC acknowledged that some households in Karachi may experience low gas pressure or temporary supply interruptions due to the use of compressors.
