The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced extraordinary measures to ensure better gas pressure for domestic and commercial consumers during the winter season.

The company said it remains fully committed to improving gas supply and addressing public concerns about low pressure.

According to SSGC, gas supply to industrial customers, including captive power plants, will be curtailed for a limited period.

At the same time, all CNG stations, including those operating on RLNG, will remain closed for 48 hours.

The suspension will start at 8:00 AM on Saturday, 31 January, and continue until 8:00 AM on Monday, 2 February, 2026.

The company stated that these steps have been taken due to the increased demand for gas in winter.

SSGC management believes that reducing supply to industrial users and CNG stations will help maintain better pressure for households and commercial consumers, who face difficulties during peak hours.
