The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast for Karachi, outlining expected conditions over the next 24 hours.

According to PMD, Karachi is expected to experience cold, dry weather with intermittently strong winds over the next 24 hours.

The weather conditions indicate that the ongoing cold wave will continue in the city, affecting daily life and temperatures across different areas.

The Meteorological Department reported that the weather in Karachi remains cloudy, cold, and dry. The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 20 and 22°C today.

Officials said that no rainfall is expected during the next 24 hours, but strong winds may blow at intervals, adding to the chilly conditions.

PMD forecast weather during Ramazan 2026 in Karachi

According to PMD data, the cold wave gripping Karachi is likely to persist until the end of January. The humidity level in the city is currently around 46 percent, while winds are blowing from the northeast at a speed of approximately 11 kilometers per hour.

These weather patterns are contributing to a noticeable drop in temperature, especially during early morning and nighttime hours.

Different areas of Karachi recorded varying minimum temperatures. Jinnah Terminal and its surrounding areas remained the coldest parts of the city, with the temperature dropping to 10.2 degrees Celsius.

In comparison, Maripur recorded a minimum temperature of 14.0 degrees Celsius. Shahrah-e-Faisal recorded 12.5 degrees Celsius, Gulistan-e-Jauhar 11.5 degrees Celsius, and Bin Qasim 12.4 degrees Celsius.
