Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi arrived in Karachi as part of his Sohail Afridi Karachi visit, receiving a warm welcome from PTI supporters at Jinnah International Airport.
A large number of party workers gathered at the airport, chanting slogans, waving flags, and expressing enthusiasm as the chief minister stood atop his vehicle.

Meanwhile, the schedule of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister’s Sindh visit has been revised, extending the tour by one day to four days total officially.
Media reports said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership has submitted the updated visit programme to the Commissioner Karachi to ensure coordination and security arrangements across citywide.

Under the revised programme, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will meet Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on January 12 in Karachi during official engagements session.
On the same day, he is scheduled to visit the Sindh High Court Bar Association and interact with members of the legal community formally there.
Officials confirmed that a previously planned meeting with FPCCI office-bearers has been cancelled, while talks with the All Karachi Traders Alliance will proceed as scheduled.
The chief minister will also visit the MWM centre in Karachi, where he is expected to meet party leaders and organisers during political outreach activities.
As part of his Sindh engagements, Sohail Afridi is scheduled to travel to Hyderabad on January 10 to meet workers and local leadership there briefly.
PTI leaders said the Sohail Afridi Karachi visit aims to strengthen interprovincial engagement, while Sindh authorities assured full protocol and a smooth, lawful programme execution.
It is worth noting here that the CM of KP and PTI leader Sohail Afridi had planned a visit to Sindh, with both provincial administrations coordinating to ensure proper protocol and a smooth trip.

Reports indicate that the Sindh government reached out to PTI leadership to discuss the necessary arrangements.
Former Sindh Finance Minister Nasir Hussain Shah reportedly contacted PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh, assuring him that CM Afridi would receive a proper welcome in Sindh and that all required protocol would be provided.
He stressed that any issues similar to those encountered in Punjab would be avoided, noting that the decision had the approval of the party’s senior leadership.
Haleem Adil Sheikh confirmed the communication and informed Chief Minister Afridi about the Sindh government’s message.
