Germany has announced new overseas employment opportunities for Pakistani professionals currently working in health care sector as the country is facing shortage of skilled workers.
The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment said Pakistani applicants with recognized diplomas and degrees can apply, but only after completing mandatory qualification recognition required under German immigration and labour regulations.
According to the advisory, German authorities require formal recognition of educational credentials before granting work visas, making the verification process a compulsory first step for all applicants.

Officials stated that recognition involves assessment of academic qualifications, professional nursing experience, and relevant training to ensure alignment with Germany’s healthcare standards and patient safety requirements.
Language proficiency is another critical requirement, as applicants must demonstrate German language skills at B2 level or higher to qualify for nursing positions across German healthcare institutions.
In cases where applicants partially meet requirements, German authorities may require additional training programs or equivalency examinations before granting full professional recognition and work authorization.
The bureau clarified that it does not act as a recruiting or licensing agency for Germany and does not charge any fees for guidance or information.
