Keamari Police claimed to have arrested the prime suspect in the quadruple murder after the victims’ bodies were found in a manhole in Karachi.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Keamari, Amjad Shaikh, confirmed that the main suspect was taken into custody following a focused investigation conducted soon after the bodies were recovered.
According to police officials, the suspect was arrested from the Lyari area during a targeted operation based on intelligence gathered from initial evidence and witness statements.

SSP Amjad Shaikh said the accused confessed to the crime during preliminary interrogation, providing disturbing details about the motive and circumstances surrounding the killings.
The bodies were discovered near Mai Kolachi Phatak, where police and rescue teams retrieved them from a manhole, drawing widespread public attention and concern.
Police identified the suspect as Mansoor Hussain, also known as Masroor Hussain, who admitted killing a woman and her three children.

During questioning, the accused claimed he had known the woman for nearly three years and had maintained regular contact with her during that period.
He alleged that the deceased woman practiced black magic and made amulets, which he believed caused him severe mental stress and personal suffering.
The suspect confessed that, driven by frustration and emotional distress, he killed the woman, Aneela, along with her three minor children.

Police said the victims included 35-year-old Anila and her children, 13-year-old Kishwar Zehra, 11-year-old Hasnain Ali, and 10-year-old Konain Ali.
Officials revealed that the woman was a divorcee who had been living with her children in a hotel located in the Kharadar area.
The bodies were later identified by the woman’s sister, who approached authorities after hearing reports about the discovery of unidentified victims.
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar praised the Keamari Police and SSP Amjad Shaikh for their swift response and professional handling of the case.
