The Karachi Marathon welcomed thousands of participants as Karachi international marathon participation highlighted the city’s growing sports culture, with runners gathering early morning at Sea View beach.
The marathon opened with a festive atmosphere as around 7,000 runners assembled, including professionals, amateurs, families, and fitness enthusiasts representing diverse backgrounds and age groups.

Participants traveled from across Karachi and different parts of the world, bringing cultural diversity and international attention to the city through this large-scale endurance sporting event.
According to organizers and media reports, runners from 25 countries joined the Karachi Marathon, making it one of the most internationally represented sporting events held in the city.

The race featured four well-defined categories designed to include runners of varying fitness levels, ensuring broader participation and encouraging first-time runners to compete confidently.
The event featured a full marathon of 42 kilometers, a half marathon of 21 kilometers, and shorter 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer races, giving children, beginners, and casual runners a safe opportunity to take part in competitive running.

All race categories followed carefully planned routes and concluded at Nishan Pakistan, where volunteers, medical teams, and spectators awaited participants with applause and support.
