YouTuber Rajab Butt was reportedly physically assault by the group of lawyers during a court appearance at Karachi City Court.
According to media reports, Rajab Butt appeared at the Karachi City Court along with Nadeem Naniwala in connection with a legal matter registered against him earlier this year.

As soon as Rajab Butt entered the court compound, a group of lawyers allegedly surrounded him and allegedly subjected him to physical attack, creating chaos and panic within the court premises.
Eyewitnesses said the YouTuber was punched and kicked repeatedly, resulting in injuries to his jaw and mouth, while visible bleeding was reported after the violent incident.
Witnesses further stated that Rajab Butt’s clothes were torn during the assault.
His legal counsel tried to intervene and protect him, attempting to stop the attackers, but the situation escalated rapidly before help arrived at the scene.
Court staff and police personnel later reached the area and managed to disperse the lawyers involved, bringing the tense situation under partial control.
The incident caused disruption inside the court, with proceedings affected temporarily as security officials attempted to restore order within the premises.
Reports indicated that Rajab Butt had approached the court to seek interim bail in a case registered against him at Haidery Police Station.
“When a few lawyers carry out life-threatening attacks on private civilians and resort to violence within court premises, this is not advocacy – it is thuggery. Because of the misconduct of a handful of lawyers, the dignity and reputation of lawyers across the country are being damaged, which is unacceptable under any circumstances. The Sindh Bar Council and the Karachi Bar are urged to take notice,” tweeted Mian Ali Ashfaq, lawyer of Rajab Butt, after the Karachi court incident.
It is important to note that Rajab Butt is facing a blasphemy-related case and had already obtained interim bail prior to this latest court appearance.

Earlier this month, the YouTuber also faced controversy after landing at Islamabad airport when his UK visa was cancelled by the UK Home Department.
UK Authorities reportedly cancelled the visa after discovering that Rajab Butt had allegedly concealed information about cases registered against him in Pakistan.
