Cricket West Indies (CWI) vice-president Azim Bassarath has confirmed that Pakistan will tour the West Indies for a two-match Test series in July and August next year.
According to Geo Super, speaking at an executive luncheon held by the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain on Wednesday, the Cricket West Indies vice-president shared key details of the red-ball tour.

According to Bassarath, Pakistan’s tour will run from July 15 to August 7, 2026, and will include two ICC World Test Championship matches.
The first Test will be played at Queen’s Park Oval, while the second will take place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy (BLCA).
A four-day warm-up match will also be staged at the BLCA before the Test series begins.
“We will also host the Pakistan tour of the Caribbean from July 15-August 7, 2026, comprising the four-day warm-up match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy (BLCA), the first Test match at the Queen’s Park Oval and the second Test at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy,” Bassarath said during his address.

He added that the Brian Lara Cricket Academy has now achieved full international accreditation.
“I’m pleased to note that the BLCA will now be a fully accredited international venue capable of hosting matches in all formats,” he said.
The upcoming Test tour is part of Pakistan’s Future Tours Programme, although the detailed match schedule is yet to be announced.
Earlier this year, Pakistan visited the West Indies for three One-day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.
The two teams also faced each other in a Test series in January, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
