He was joined by Chief Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Zubair Habib, Deputy Inspector General Traffic Pir Muhammad Shah, and Director Excise Motor Registration Shabana Baloch.
Speaking to the media, Odho said the introduction of the TRACS system has helped improve traffic flow and enforcement across the city.
He noted that feedback from citizens has been encouraging; however, monitoring has also revealed that some vehicle owners are attempting to evade e-challans through unlawful means.
According to the police, several vehicles have been found using fake, concealed, or altered registration numbers.

Odho said the police, in coordination with the excise department and the CPLC, will take strict action against such violations.
“Police will be deployed at various locations to carry out checks, and vehicles with illegal number plates will be dealt with accordingly,” he added.
He said excise records will be checked before any enforcement action is taken.
Vehicles and motorcycles found in violation may be seized, and cases will be registered against those involved.
“We have already checked more than 500 vehicles which were found using fake or illegal number plates. When such vehicles are detected by cameras, an alert will sound, and we will take action,” he further added.

Meanwhile, trackers have been installed in approximately 15,000 heavy vehicles to reduce traffic accidents.
The additional IG further advised citizens who have applied for official number plates to keep their payment receipts with them at all times.
He warned that vehicles without legal plates will be temporarily impounded, while misuse of green number plates will also invite legal action.
Director Excise Motor Registration Shabana Baloch added that new vehicles are being issued number plates at the time of purchase, while plates for older vehicles have been issued up to those bought by July.
