Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant correction on Tuesday, following a surge in previous sessions, as international markets also pulled back from recent highs.
According to the latest data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell sharply by Rs. 4,000, closing at Rs. 450,862.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 3,429 to Rs. 386,541, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs. 3,143, settling at Rs. 354,342.
The decline in domestic prices tracked a notable retreat in the global market. The international gold price per ounce dropped by $40, trading at $4,285.

In contrast, the silver market held steady. Domestic prices for silver per tola (24Kt) and silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs. 6,532 and Rs. 5,600, respectively. Internationally, the silver price per ounce also showed no movement, holding at $62.60.
The Association confirmed that local gold rates are calculated based on interbank exchange rates. The quoted prices are for a purity of 999 (24K).

A day earlier, Gold rate in Pakistan maintained their bullish momentum on Monday, with both gold and silver prices rising further.
According to the latest data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs. 2,600, reaching a new high of Rs. 45,862.
