The Lux Style Awards 2025 returned to Karachi, bringing stars together in a grand celebration of talent, with the event marking the 24th edition of Pakistan’s renowned ceremony.
The Mohatta Palace was beautifully illuminated, setting a glamorous stage for celebrities. Attendees enjoyed an intimate gathering instead of a large production, celebrating fashion, music, film, and digital achievements across the nation.
A total of 28 categories were presented, spanning television, film, fashion, music, and digital content. Awards were divided between Critics’ Choice and Viewers’ Choice, reflecting both critical opinion and popular preference.
In television, Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa dominated, with Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum winning major awards. Yumna Zaidi also made history with multiple Lux Style Awards.
Film awards went to Kattar Karachi for Film of the Year, Umair Nasir Ali as Best Director, and notable actors, including Samar Jafri and Yumna Zaidi, were honoured.
Music and fashion were celebrated, with Song of the Year going to “Jhol,” HSY recognised as Fashion Icon, and Yasser Dar awarded Best Model of the Year.
Digital creators received special recognition, including Rehan Nazim and Rabya Kulsoom (Ron and Coco), Aidah Sheikh, Erica Robins, and Hira Faisal, highlighting the growing influence of Pakistan’s online content economy.
The ceremony featured unforgettable performances, with Abida Parveen performing a soulful Arifana Kalam. Hasan Raheem and Shotbox also entertained guests, ensuring a memorable night filled with music and energy.
The return of the Lux Style Awards carries added significance, after cancellations during the pandemic. The event now continues to inspire creativity and celebrate Pakistan’s thriving entertainment industry.
