The women’s swimming events at the 35th National Games in Karachi concluded on Wednesday, with Army’s female swimmers delivering an outstanding performance to claim the General Trophy with 12 gold medals.
Sindh’s team also impressed, securing a total of four gold medals and finishing in second place overall, while WAPDA’s women swimmers earned three gold medals.

Army’s Jehanara Nabi emerged as the star of the competition, winning five individual golds and three in team events, earning her the title of Best Women Swimmer.
On the final day of the women’s swimming contests, Sindh’s Hareem Malik won two gold medals, playing a key role in her team’s overall success.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Army tightened its hold on the National Games medal tally on Wednesday, surpassing the 100-gold milestone after a series of commanding performances across athletics, swimming, rowing and team sports at the 35th National Games.
By the end of the day’s events, Army remained firmly at the top with 113 gold, 50 silver and 34 bronze medals.
