Pakistan’s defence leadership delivered a firm and timely national security message during an address to officers from all three-armed forces.
The Chief of the Army Staff and the Chief of Defence Forces highlighted the importance of unity, modernization, and rapid preparedness. They also warned India against miscalculations and urged the Afghan Taliban to make decisive choices regarding militant groups threatening Pakistan.
Field Marshal stated that the creation of the newly established Defence Forces Headquarters marks a historic transformation in Pakistan’s defence structure.

He said this change was essential for meeting today’s expanding and evolving national security challenges effectively and strategically.
He explained that growing regional threats make it vital for Pakistan to enhance multi-domain operations under a unified command structure.
The Defence Forces Headquarters, he added, will ensure improved coordination among the three services while strengthening combined operational capabilities.

Field Marshal highlighted that although the three armed services will operate under a unified strategic direction, each service will continue to maintain its individuality, internal autonomy, and existing organizational setups. This ensures that operational readiness and specialized functions remain intact.
The army chief warned India not to fall into the trap of self-created assumptions or false confidence. He stressed that any future provocation would be met with an even faster and more forceful response, demonstrating Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding national interests.
He also shared that Pakistan has delivered a clear and uncompromising message to the Afghan Taliban regime, stressing they must choose between supporting Pakistan or siding with the extremist Khawarij elements. He reaffirmed that neutrality on this matter is not an option for Kabul.

Field Marshal reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving state with no desire for conflict, but no one will be allowed to challenge the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, or national resolve. He said Pakistan remains fully prepared to respond to any threat.
Concluding his remarks, he stated that the idea of Pakistan is invincible, protected by faith-driven warriors and the unwavering unity of the nation. He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to defending the homeland at all costs.
