Meanwhile, Australia had originally planned a two-phase white-ball tour of Pakistan.

Under the earlier schedule, Australia were to play three T20Is in Pakistan from January 30 to February 5, ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.

The second leg consisted of a three-match ODI series from March 13–19.

However, the ODI matches are now expected to be shifted from their original window.

The 50-over series is expected to be held after the conclusion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11.

The Future Tours Programme (FTP) had previously listed the ODIs between March 13 and 19.

Pakistan and Australia share a long-standing rivalry in Test cricket, having met in 72 matches.

Australia have won 37 games, Pakistan 15, while 20 Tests have ended in a draw.
