Lahore Qalandars took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the news, tweeting: “Lahore Qalandars proudly renew their PSL commitment for another 10 years! A new decade begins for Pakistan’s most valuable PSL franchise.”

Earlier, the board had shared updated valuations with all existing franchises, except Multan Sultans, giving teams the option to accept the terms or risk losing their rights to new owners.

For the Qalandars, the renewal marks a fresh chapter for a franchise that has grown from early struggles to become the first team to win back-to-back PSL titles.

According to journalists, the management confirmed that the decision was straightforward: the PCB offered the renewal, and the Qalandars quickly signed on, reflecting their trust in the league’s direction under the current board.

The franchise is the only team to have won three titles under its current ownership and aims to continue building on this success.

The Lahore Qalandars are known for their strong talent development programs, including the Players Development Program (PDP) and the High Performance Centre, which have produced several national-level players.

With the renewal, these initiatives are set to continue shaping Pakistan cricket for years to come.
