Sri Lanka stand-in captain Dasun Shanaka recorded an unwanted milestone during the third T20I of the tri-series against Pakistan at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Shanaka already held the record for the most ducks in T20Is and added his fifteenth to the unwanted tally.

Shanaka was dismissed for a duck by Mohammad Nawaz, marking his fifteenth duck in T20Is overall and his fourth in twelve innings against Pakistan.

His early dismissal put Sri Lanka on the backfoot, with the team struggling at 120 for 6 by 18.2 overs.

In his T20I career against Pakistan, Shanaka has played 12 innings, scoring 141 runs at an average of 12.81, with a strike rate of 118.5.

He has registered just one fifty, but unfortunately, his repeated low scores against Pakistan have drawn attention.

Among full member nations, Shanaka tops the list for most ducks in T20Is.
