Pakistan’s T20I vice-captain, Shadab Khan, is likely to make a return in the T20I Tri-Nation Series squad after recovering from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for several months.
The all-rounder has resumed full training, including bowling and fitness sessions, at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
According to Geo Super, Shadab’s rehabilitation has been closely monitored by the PCB’s medical panel and physiotherapists, who are satisfied with his progress.

The Pakistan Cricket Board and head coach Mickey Arthur are reportedly eager to have Shadab back in the squad before the T20 World Cup, given his value as a leg-spinner, aggressive batter, and experienced all-rounder.
Shadab underwent surgery on his right shoulder on July 5 in England, which forced him to miss several key series, including the Asia Cup 2025.
