Sindh Police have initiated a province-wide crackdown against vehicles operating without number plates due to concerns that these violations allow offenders to bypass Karachi’s newly implemented E-challan system.
As per official orders issued by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ghulam Nabi Memon, all police units across Sindh have been instructed to identify and stop vehicles without number plates immediately.

The IGP issued an urgent law-enforcement priority, warning drivers who remove their number plates to bypass e-challans or conceal their identities would face severe legal consequences under traffic regulations.
Senior police officers across the province, including the Additional IGP Karachi and all DIGs/SSPs, have received written instructions to implement a crackdown without delay and ensure visible enforcement.

These reports should include information regarding how many vehicles were confiscated, how many cases were registered, and how many violators were detained and processed under Section 550 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
