Earlier to this, the UAE has issued a warning about fake jobs and visa scam groups targeting individuals seeking job opportunities in the Gulf.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), in its statement, clarified that the job offers officially issued by MoHRE are real.
“Scammers posing as officials of UAE employers or recruitment agencies, demanding advance payments for job processing, visa or entry permits from the job seekers,” the statement reads, adding that no genuine employer or recruitment firm is allowed to request money from job applicants for such services.
“If someone offers you a job in the UAE, make sure it comes through MoHRE,” the ministry stated. It further warned that working under a tourist or visit visa is illegal and could lead to heavy fines and legal action.
The applicants can check the authenticity of the job offer by using the “Application Status Inquiry” feature on the official website of MoHRE.
