The city is experiencing hot and dry weather in Karachi as temperatures climb to their highest point in the current weather cycle, with maximums reaching 35-37°C under predominantly clear skies.

According to the meteorological department, Thursday will bring hot and dry conditions across Karachi division, with humidity levels ranging from 60-70% in the morning to a drier 25-35% in the evening.

The northwesterly and northeasterly winds will shift to southwesterly as the day progresses, providing some variation in air flow but little relief from the heat.

The weather outlook indicates that hot and dry conditions with cool nights will prevail over most parts of Sindh province, creating typical autumn weather patterns for the region.

The combination of high daytime temperatures and low evening humidity creates a significant temperature differential that characterizes this transitional season.

Authorities advise residents to stay hydrated and limit exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours when temperatures are at their highest.

The dry conditions may also increase dust levels in the atmosphere, potentially affecting air quality in urban areas.
