Aiming to empower female workers, the Sindh government will provide sewing machines to women in the industrial sector.

Marriage and Death Grants

The Workers Welfare Card will streamline access to financial support for workers and their families. Through the card, workers can easily apply for marriage grants and death grants, which are intended to help relieve financial burdens.

Simplified Access to Welfare Facilities

The Workers Welfare Card will eliminate the need for workers to stand in long lines for various welfare services. All facilities, including health insurance, grants, and other benefits, can be accessed easily through the Workers Welfare Card.

Protection against Worker Exploitation

The card also serves as a mechanism for worker registration, with a strong stress on protecting workers’ rights across the province.

The Sindh government has warned of strict action against industries that fail to register workers, ensuring that exploitation will not be tolerated.
