Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf inaugurated the new Dental College and Hospital at the Bahria University Health Sciences Campus (BUHSC) in Karachi.

Equipped with a modern center with lecture halls, laboratories, and treatment units, the newly established college aimed to educate and train dental students according to global standards.

The newly inaugurated institute will also provide affordable oral healthcare to the general public.

During the inaugural ceremony, Admiral Ashraf noted that the project reflects the Navy’s support for education and its commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare system.

He stressed that the Dental College and Hospital could help address the country’s shortage of qualified dental specialists and improve access to professional oral treatment.

The BUHSC, launched in 2013, already includes a medical college, nursing school, and several allied health sciences programs serving Karachi and beyond.

Senior Navy officials, university representatives, and medical experts from across Pakistan attended the inauguration, welcoming the facility as a milestone for dental education.
