The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the establishment of three new mega centers in Karachi.
The move is part of NADRA’s continued efforts to enhance service delivery and reduce congestion at existing centers across the city.
The new mega centers will be located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg and Surjani Town.
These centers are expected to be operational by March 2026, and will cater to thousands of citizens daily, providing services such as CNIC issuance and renewal, family registration, biometric verification, and more.
The announcement was made by NADRA Sindh Director General Amir Ali Khan during a ceremony held at Karachi University.
Speaking at the event, Amir Ali Khan emphasized that the initiative is designed to provide maximum convenience to the public and reduce waiting times.
“NADRA is committed to resolving public issues through technology and improving access to services for every citizen,” he said.
He also highlighted the role of digital transformation in NADRA’s operations, pointing to the Pak-ID mobile application as a key tool for citizens.
Through the app, users can now access a range of NADRA services from the comfort of their homes, saving time and eliminating the need to physically visit centers for many tasks.
In addition, the Sindh DG called on students and youth to help spread awareness about NADRA’s PAK ID application. With the opening of these new branches, NADRA aims to reduce pressure on existing centers and ensure faster, more efficient service delivery to the people of Karachi.
