Islamabad-based TikToker Samiya Hijab has officially withdrawn her kidnapping and harassment case, choosing to settle the matter out of court.

According to media reports, the victim Samiya has forgiven the accused, Hassan Zahid, after his family apologized and pledged to resolve all outstanding disputes peacefully.

The agreement, confirmed before the court, also covers financial transactions and videos conflict between the pair.

Samia reportedly told her lawyer that she forgave Zahid “for the sake of Allah,” highlighting that no financial compensation was involved in her decision, which she said aimed to release hanging trauma.

Samia clarified that Zahid has withdrawn his allegations against her and promised not to threaten, defame her on social media, or harm her personally or financially, pledging to respect her privacy.

Her lawyers revealed that an affidavit will soon be submitted for case dismissal, likely resulting in Zahid’s release from custody, pending confirmation from the Islamabad court handling the proceedings.

Earlier, Zahid was jailed on judicial remand after initially receiving pre-arrest bail in the high-profile case registered at Shalimar Police Station under kidnapping and intimidation charges.

Police investigations revealed financial dealings and plans for marriage between the two, which later soured, leading to serious accusations and a viral social media video posted by Samia on August 31.

Authorities previously arrested three alleged accomplices of Zahid and recovered Rs45,000, though a vehicle and pistol linked to the case remain untraced, according to Islamabad police sources.

Samia said she now feels secure and ready to focus on her career, affirming that her engagement with Zahid has ended and she intends to move forward positively.
