The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a three-day weather forecast for Karachi division starting September 10th, 2025.
Residents should prepare for intermittent light to moderate rain, followed by partly cloudy and humid conditions with occasional drizzle in the city.
According to the PMD report, on September 10 (Wednesday), temperatures will range between 27°C to 29°C during the day, with a minimum of around 25°C.
Humidity levels are expected to be high, reaching 92 percent in the morning and 75–85 percent in the evening, with winds blowing from the south to southeasterly direction.
Thursday’s forecast predicts slightly warmer conditions, with daytime temperatures climbing to 29–31°C and lows between 25°C to 27°C.

Humidity will decrease slightly but remain elevated at 80–90% in the morning and 70–80% in the evening. Winds will shift to the south-southwesterly direction.
By Friday, the mercury is expected to rise further, with maximum temperatures reaching 30–32°C and minimum temperatures between 26°C to 28°C.
Humidity will continue to drop, ranging from 75–85% in the morning to 65–75% in the evening. Winds are expected to come from the west-southwesterly direction.
The Met Office also issued a monsoon alert, noting that light to moderate rainfalls are expected not only in Karachi but also in Jamshoro, Thatta, and Sujawal districts. Hot and humid weather will persist in most parts of the province.

Citizens are advised to remain cautious as the River Indus at Guddu is forecasted to reach a very high flood level within the next 24 hours, while Sukkur is expected to see high flood levels after 24 hours.
