The Pakistan fan stand, named House of Rauf, will once again return during the Big Bash League (BBL), offering Pakistani cricket supporters a dedicated space at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Organizers of the event confirmed that the stand will be named the “House of Rauf” in recognition of star bowler Haris Rauf.
During Melbourne Stars matches, the stand will cater to Pakistanis and South Asian fans, aiming to boost their engagement and participation. A similar Pakistan stand was also introduced at the MCG in the previous season.
Melbourne Stars General Manager Max Abbott said the “House of Rauf” was created to attract Pakistani fans. He added that the goal is to encourage fans to enjoy the matches, highlight their culture, and support the team.

He further stated that the presence of Pakistani cricketers and fans always brings a vibrant environment to the stadium.
The initiative also aligns with Cricket Australia’s Multicultural Action Plan, which focuses on engaging South Asian players and communities.
