Palestinian trailblazer Nadeen Ayoub has been announced as the first-ever representative of Palestine at Miss Universe 2025, marking a historic milestone in global pageantry and cultural representation.
The Dubai-based psychology student and advocate will compete in Thailand on November 21, 2025, where she hopes to amplify Palestinian voices on one of the world’s largest stages.
A Voice Beyond Pageantry
Nadeen first gained international attention in 2022 when she became the first Palestinian to compete in Miss Earth, finishing in the top five. Since then, she has combined her academic pursuits with activism, raising awareness on challenges in Gaza and the resilience of children growing up in conflict zones.
Speaking in a statement, she said: “I am honored to announce that for the first time ever, Palestine will be represented at Miss Universe. Today, I step onto the stage not just with a title but with a truth.”
Wearing a traditional tatreez-embroidered white dress in her announcement video, she emphasized that her participation is not about glamour alone, but about carrying the voice of Palestinian people especially women and children who embody resilience and hope.
Purpose-Driven Advocacy
Through her initiative she highlights stories of Palestinian women who embody creativity, strength, and perseverance beyond the headlines. “We are more than our suffering we are resilience, hope, and the heartbeat of a homeland that lives on through us,” she affirmed.

As she prepares for Miss Universe 2025, Nadeen’s journey symbolizes a blend of culture, identity, and advocacy, making her a powerful voice on the global stage. she further mentioned: As Palestine endures heartbreak especially in Gaza I carry the voice of a people who refuse to be silenced.
