The Government of Türkiye has revised its transit visa fee structure for Pakistani travellers, introducing new rates for both single and double transit categories. The updated fees took effect this month as part of Türkiye’s broader efforts to streamline travel procedures at its strategic hubs, particularly Istanbul.
A Turkish transit visa allows passengers to pass through Türkiye en route to their final destination. Depending on travel plans, passengers may either remain in the airport transit zone or enter Türkiye during their stopover. Those planning to leave the airport are required to obtain a valid Turkish transit visa.
Updated Transit Visa Fees for Pakistanis:
Single Transit Visa: $180 (3 months), $200 (6 months), $220 (12 months)
Double Transit Visa: $240 (3 months), $260 (6 months), $280 (12 months)
Payments must be made in Pakistani rupees (PKR), based on the State Bank of Pakistan’s daily exchange rate.
Application Process in Pakistan:
In Pakistan, visa applications are processed by Anatolia Travel Services, which has been officially authorized by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The agency collects original passports and required documents in line with the guidelines issued by the Turkish Embassy and Consulate.
Türkiye, situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, remains a vital hub for global travel and trade. With Istanbul serving as a key international connection point, the revised fees are expected to ensure smoother facilitation of travellers while maintaining transparency in visa processing.
The update reflects Türkiye’s continued focus on improving travel procedures and supporting the growing demand from Pakistani passengers who frequently transit through its airports.
