Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that Israeli weapons were used in India’s recently conducted Operation Sindoor, calling them highly effective on the battlefield.
Speaking to an Indian journalist, Netanyahu admitted Israel’s military support to India and highlighted that the defense partnership between the two nations is continuing to grow in the future.
Without giving specifics of the systems or hardware used by India, Netanyahu said, “Israeli weapons proved effective in Operation Sindoor.”
On the ongoing Gaza conflict, Israel’s PM clarified that Israel does not intend to occupy Gaza. “If Hamas surrenders, the war will end. Gaza’s management will be handed over to an international body,” he stated.

The Israeli leader also confirmed the dismissal of the female attorney general who was pursuing corruption cases against him.
Netanyahu reaffirmed that Israel’s main objective remains the complete elimination of Hamas and the removal of its influence from Gaza.
On international relations, he said that both the United States and India are “very good friends” and key strategic partners. He expressed optimism about resolving trade-related tariff issues through dialogue.
He also mentioned that direct flights between India and Israel are under consideration, further enhancing connectivity and economic cooperation between the two nations.
