One is managed by Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and the other by the Karachi Water Supply Corporation (KWSC).
He further claimed that the previous governments did not work seriously on it. However, WAPDA claims that it will complete its share of the K-4 project by December 2026.
In addition, the mayor said that each industrial area now has a dedicated fire station with at least two fire tenders. Referring to a recent factory fire in Landhi, he confirmed that KMC fire staff responded on time and kept the water supply running.
