The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and humid weather for Karachi, with mostly cloudy skies and chances of light drizzle.
Under the ongoing monsoon pattern, the city remains gripped by elevated humidity and warm temperatures, creating uncomfortable conditions particularly during morning and evening hours.
Daytime temperatures are expected to range between 32°C and 34°C, while nighttime lows are likely to settle around 28.5°C. Despite occasional southwesterly breezes and overcast skies, high humidity may cause the “feels-like” temperature to rise above actual readings.

According to PMD, similar weather will persist through Saturday, August 2, with maximum temperatures between 31°C and 34°C and minimums ranging from 27°C to 29°C. Morning humidity levels are expected to stay between 70% and 80%, while evening humidity may remain around 55% to 65%.
Light drizzle or isolated showers are also possible in several districts, including Karachi, Qamber Shahdadkot, Larkana, Dadu, Jamshoro, Umerkot, and Tharparkar. While these light rains may slightly dampen roadways, no major weather disruptions are anticipated.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure during peak hours, and keep an eye on local weather advisories.
