The Pakistani rupee (PKR) strengthened by Rs0.16 against the US dollar in interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs283.05, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs283.21.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs285.25and Rs286 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by Rs3.54 to close at Rs327.19against the last day’s closing of Rs330.73, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen remain unchanged and closes at Rs1.91, whereas a decline of Rs2.35 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs377.50 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs379.85.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal came down by Rs0.04 each to close at Rs77.06 and Rs75.45, respectively.
A day earlier, the PKR strengthened by Rs0.241 against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs283.21 against the previous day’s closing of Rs283.45.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs284.00 and Rs286.55 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by Rs2.15 to close at Rs330.74 against the last day’s closing of Rs332.89, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
