Karachi is expected to face another day of cloudy skies and light rain as predicted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the city will remain mostly cloudy with chances of light drizzle throughout the day. While no heavy rain is predicted, the weather will remain damp and humid.

Temperatures in Karachi will range between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius during the day and drop slightly to 28 to 30 degrees at night. Morning humidity is expected to hover between 70% and 80%.

By the evening, humidity will reduce slightly to 55% to 65%. Persistent southwesterly winds will bring brief relief from the discomfort but won’t eliminate the muggy feel in the air.

For early morning commuters, light rain may create slippery road conditions. Residents are advised to carry umbrellas or raincoats and drive carefully in areas with slick roads.

In addition to wet roads, the combination of heat and humidity may cause discomfort, especially for people with respiratory conditions. The public is urged to limit outdoor exposure in the morning.

While Karachi’s monsoon conditions remain mild, some other districts are also affected. Tharparkar and Umerkot may see isolated light rain. Guddu Barrage is facing medium-level flooding, while Sukkur is at a low-level flood stage.

Meanwhile, Kotri Barrage is experiencing normal water flow, and no immediate risk is reported from there. The PMD continues to monitor the situation for any significant change in weather conditions.
