Pakistani rupee on Tuesday weakened by 1.71 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 284.97 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 284.95.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 287.70 and Rs 288.60 respectively.
The price of Euro decreased by 1.53 paisa to close at Rs 333.19 against the last day’s closing of Rs 331.66, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen went down by 0.61 paisa and closed at Rs 1.9300, whereas a decrease of 90.64 pasia was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs 383.96 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 383.05
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham decreased by 0.47 paisa to close at Rs 77.59 and the Saudi Riyal increased by 0.35 paisa to close Rs75.96.
