Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has made B-Form, CNIC and medical tests mandatory to stop age fraud in junior-level events.
In a move to tackle the issue, PSB declared age fraud a clear violation of its Code of Ethics and Governance in Sports, stating that any false information will lead to penalties and disqualification.
For athletes under 21, PSB now requires a B-Form or CNIC, names of selection committee members, dental examination, and radiological tests.
Junior players must also submit verified medical reports and all related documents signed by their federation’s president and secretary general.
According to the PSB notification, the player providing fake or suspicious documents will be disqualified from training camps, financial support, and cash awards.
The notification further added that the age fraud at the junior level is a global concern. It harms fair competition, risks athlete safety, and damages the credibility of sports systems.
PSB raised concerns that some players enter age-specific competitions with false documents. This deprives deserving athletes of their rights and may lead to injuries due to unequal physical strength.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and other global bodies have repeatedly stressed the need to prevent age fraud to promote fairness and integrity in sports.
PSB confirmed that only players with verified documents will qualify for training camps, financial aid, and cash rewards.
